We use third-party providers, Twitter and Facebook, to manage our social-media interactions. If you send us a private or direct message via social media, it will be stored according to the privacy policy of the respective provider. It will not be shared with any other organisations.
We see all this information and decide how we manage it. For example, if you send a message via social media that needs a response from us, we may process it entirely within the social media platform in question. When contacting Intrepid Universe through a social media platform, we suggest you also familiarise yourself with the privacy information of that platform.
We use in house technology and use Transport Layer Security (TLS) to supply and support Web form messaging on our website.
If you use this service, we’ll optionally collect your name along with the contents of your web form message and the user agent string supplied by your web browser client. We’ll also collect your email address, if you choose to provide it, in order to receive a reply to the message. We’ll convert this information to email format after which it is processed as discussed in the Email section
We use Transport Layer Security (TLS) to encrypt and protect email traffic in line with well known guidance on email security. Most web mail such as GMail and Hotmail use TLS by default.
We’ll also monitor any emails sent to us, including file attachments, for viruses or malicious software. You must ensure that any email you send is within the bounds of the law.
We generally keep emails for one hundred years.
